We are aware of an issue with a number of Virgin Media Leased Lines which terminate in Slough

We have seen our NNI to then drop causing service issues on some lines. We have a case raised with Virgin and have chased for this to be investigated urgently. We will be following up and updating here as we know more

Virgin have confirmed this is part of a network outage in the Hayes / Slough area. They have engineers on route with an ETA of 19:00 – we are expecting an update by 20:00 and will update this post as we hear more

Virgin have localised the faut to a potential fibre issue 350m from their rack in the Slough Data Centre – they are working with various teams to pinpoint where this is and a plan to resolve this.

We can confirm that Virgin located and worked round a fibre break overnight – we have seen all affected services restored by 1:30 this morning. If you are still seeing an issue please raise this to the support team
